Happy Walters rose from the hoods of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The artist has played many shows in Minnesota and Los Angeles. As a producer, Happy Walters is currently working on a lot of TV shows which will feature his singles. Reviews have said he is “the industry’s best kept secret”.

Because of the pandemic, they recorded it in his home studio in collaboration with producer Emani based out of Los Angeles.
The band’s dominant influences are Nas, Jay-Z, Kanye West, AZ, Common, Elzhi and Black Thought.
The beat is “throw back DJ Premier boom bap style,”. Happy Walters did not take long to write the song, saying, “As soon as I heard [the beat] the words just started coming out, the song did not take long to write.”
The artist wanted the track a throwback to the classic boom bap sound and feel. He has created a classic. In the artist’s own lyrics, “I ain’t here to change the game, I’m just here to play it”.
