‘Just Cry’ is the fourth single from String Bone’s anticipated 3rd full-length release ‘Coping Mechanisms ’ releasing in the spring of 2023. Written, recorded and produced by Payne of Stratford, Ontario and production partner George Leger III (Nickelback, Sophie B Hawkins), Canadian ex-pat now living in Las Vegas. The song harkens back to a rich musical era of traditional folk-pop balladry with a stunning, almost 40s, jazz-pop string arrangement a la Nat King Cole by Kitchener, Ontario’s Ben Bolt-Martin, emotionally tender vocals and lyrics that reach out for reconciliation of, perhaps, a lost love or severed relationship.
