From the Artist: “Right Where We Belong” is my reaction to the US Covid lockdown of 2020. That period of time allowed me to reflect on what really matters and I was dreaming of the day I’d get to be with my friends and family again. I hope the song delivers that glorious feeling of reuniting with an old friend written through the lens of making amends and redemption. The lyrics start with the line “After the Wreckage…” Wreckage is a word I heard a lot in recovery (AA. I’m 9+ years sober). Writing with a little dash of that perspective made it feel more authentic and relevant to my life.”
