Terry Kozachenko is an artist from Niagara On The Lake, Canada. Terry fronts the 3TL ensemble. He composes, writes and arranges the lyrics and music.

Terry wrote this song as a tribute to celebrate the life of Richard Howard. A close friend of Terry’s, Richard was part of the local business scene in Niagara On The Lake, and with his husband David Johnston Richard co-owned Bogarts Bed & Breakfast. He passed away in 2020 to Glioblastoma, the same brain cancer which took Gord Downie’s life. Aldo Petronelli, former co-owner of Britaly Bed & Breakfast, and mutual friend of the late Richard Howard makes a special appearance in the video with his dog Markus, becoming an integral part of the memory video in tribute to Richard. The celebration of Richard’s life takes place at The Community Centre in Niagara On The Lake October 24th. 2021.

There will be a contest around the YouTube premiere launch of the video using the hashtag #toafriend. With the hashtag, people share friendship stories. They post a Celebration of Life story of a time they realized the value of friendship, or a shout out to someone who taught them the meaning of friendship.
